I read quite a few great books in November, but I am very behind on posting reviews, so my list is short this month. Here are the great books (4-star and 5-star) that I read in November. Click on the book title to open my full review from Opinionated Book Lover.
David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell
We all know that underdogs can win. That’s what the David versus Goliath legend tells us, and we’ve seen it with our own eyes. Or have we? Malcolm Gladwell uncovers the hidden rules that shape the balance between the weak and the mighty, the powerful and the dispossessed.
This book was fascinating, and it made a fun audiobook read by Gladwell himself.
Bad Blood (The Naturals #4) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
When Cassie Hobbes joined the FBI’s Naturals program, she had one goal: uncover the truth about her mother’s murder. But now, everything Cassie thought she knew about what happened that night has been called into question.
This series is one of my YA favorites. The characters are really great. It has a kind of Real World meets FBI craziness feel to it. It’s gory, but I love the story and the writing.
Today’s post will be linked up with Modern Mrs. Darcy for her Quick Lit series.
